Sunroof not properly working or is it like that?

So here's my situation.
During the day, when its dry out side my sunroof works perfectly, but when its either damp, night (even when dry). It appears that it doesn't work. Whats the hecks happening?

Try cleaning out the rails it rides on. If there clgged up itll lock it shut. Spray them down with silicone grease as well.

At first, I thought that was the problem, but even after cleaning it and re-greasing it. It would still do the same thing.

Possibly the actuater. Sometimes they get temperature sensitive.

Not positive but i believe its under the dash on the passenger side.

wouldn't the actuator be the motor?

Theres a solenoid/actuator module under the dash. Went out on my brothers car but onhis the thinhg stopped working completely. I dont remember exactly where it was but it seems like it was against the stereo console.

I ended up having to trace the wiring down. There is a schematic for it on here but I dont remember where.
