Its been awhile, but Im finally back to putting more work into my car.
Unfortunately I need to go to the Jyard and pick up a new Biss Screw thatll last till monday until my new one comes in. Does it matter if the biss comes out of a N/A version of the car?
Ok, well I dont need a terribly fast car, Im looking to getting my talon into mustang gt territory.

Right now some of my basic mods are
3 inch exhaust
Ported 2g Exxhaust mani
Ported O2 housing
Boost Controller(set at 12-14psi)
aftermarket fuel pressure regulator by aeromotive

Now my goal was to actually see how far I could push out of this car without a tune, and still have the car running right.

Ive looked at the upgrade path many times, but does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do next if tunings not my concern right now?

I want bigger injectors and a small 16g, but I dont want to install em if the car is gonna run sloppiliy w/o a tune ya know

You have a 14b, you can get quite a bit out of that. I would not suggest larger injectors without a way to compensate for them. Switch to a hard intake piping and hard intercooler piping. The smooth flow of the intake air will make a great difference in power delivery and unobstructed flow. As you're a 90 AWD, upgrade to a a 91+ throttle Body, port your intake manifold, and replace your air-box with an open-element filter.

Minor changes to prepare for the future. Your next step is to get a logger and a tuning solution.

Edit : also, it doesn't matter on your BISS screw question, but why not just replace the o-ring on your current one?...or is it missing?

actually have a knn air filter but I do need to plan on buying an intake pipe,Ill probably definitely go dejon for that.

Yea the Biss Screw is missing, Ive capped it off a lil bit with rubber cap, but im trying to drive the car as less as possible until the new one arrives at the dealer

If you don't want to tune you should revert your car back to stock. You should already be faster than a stock Mustang GT pre-03.

Just to put it out there, when I was first planning my build I was going to go with DSMChips because I wanted to avoid tuning as much as possible; however, he went "out of business" right when it was time for me to order a tuning solution.

I ended up getting DSMLink V3 and I was surprised how easy it was to learn how to use. The Link forum and this forum are very helpful for tuning support also.

Don't be too scared of tuning! Also, the more stock your car is, the easier it will be to tune. The wilder you mod your car the more adjustments you'll have to make.
Common knowledge but keep thinking about that when considering your build.

if u want some power and to lighten up your ride, then i'd remove your a/c system: for weight loss. You can also get a battery relocation kit for a decent price from www.streettunedmotorsports.com. A friend of mine actually removed his coolant resevior and replaced it with a rockstar energy can that he had tig'd the top shut and added some nipples to it for proper setup. If you decide to remove the a/c system then you won't be needing the a/c fan and shroud. As for more airflow, replace your factory intercooler with a larger one; its up to you on how much you want to spend on the intercooler, also hard piping will definately allow for smoother airflow and with the front mount intercooler drawing in air you will increase hp. You can also replace your stock cold intake pipe with an aluminum one with cone shape k&n filter. You also have the option of upgrading the bottom end and top end of the motor, like replacing stock internals with forged ones and i'd recommend using a steel head gasket and arp bolts and studs, you'll have the choice of different compression ratio's that you might want with the pistons, for starting out i'd go with 8.5:1 wiseco's. Also theres the option of getting a balance shaft eliminator kit, it won't hurt the engine, the kits cheap too, a set of aftermarket cams, pullys, and a stronger belt will do as well. I'd also do a full tuneup on the engine and tranny, replace all fluids in brakes, and diffs, bleed the system, don't forget engine bearings and gaskets if you decide on that approche. recirculate air from bov into intake, you can either install a oil catch can or put a small filter on the end of your valve cover to help keep your oil clean, oil catch can involves removing your pcv valve. you can use a egr block off plate. Theres so much you can do, but if you want everything to run like a pro you will need to get a computer tune-up. I use dsmlink v3.:rocks:
