Suggestion for new radiator

I have been building up my 95 talon with a 1 gen motor swap. It's time for a new radiator and jus curious what everyone suggests. Thx

That's a great option if you have the money to spend on a high dollar aluminum piece. If you don't, call up Radiator Depot (in your area) and order one up. If you don't, call you local NAPA store. They have some great OE spec pieces for a great price.

mishimo is the way I planned to go. Any issues with the bolt up? I know in sone cars the radiator was missing tabs or fans didn't fit. One of the reasons I was really questioning it

just put in the mishimoto rad, this one is great its about 50% thicker, bolts on to the stock mounts and hoses, aluminum filler neck, great look, just better all around. Oh yeah almost half the price of an oem rad from the dealership.. I paid $250 after shipping to canada.

Here's one from the classifieds. $235 shipped. It includes the radiator, Gates hoses and fans. Radiator for sale.

I use this exact same radiator (Punishment Racing) with shrouded fans and 1.3 bar radiator cap and have not had a single problem with installation or use. I'm just not sure if it will work with your 1G motor in your 2G or if you need a 2G radiator. In any case, I highly recommend this radiator.

or you can always get an EBAY aluminum one...i got a honda civic ebay special mini radiator with a FAL radiator fan works Greeeeaaat! funny i spent like $200 on my fan but $75 on my radiator

I recently purchased a mishimoto for 215. my only complaint is the drain plug uses an o-ring for sealing which already broke once. other than that looks are performs beautifully

Long story short, my alt. belt broke on my way to work. Engine over heated. Replaced belt, filled the car with more coolant as i figured it all came out the over flow. Then as I was driving back to the house, engine over heated again. Popped the hood, and coolant is now gushing out of the radiator between the plastic top and the aluminum. I want a cheap, all aluminum, thicker radiator, that is more reliable and performs better than the stock one. I see where some people suggested the mishimoto, and i'm wondering if my stock dual fan will bolt up no problem, and if the radiator will mount to the car with no problem. If not, do you guys know of an all aluminum radiator that will be simple swap, not requiring any "modifications"? Thanks for your help guys!

I have had a mishimoto for over a year and it keeps my temp guage just below half and the oem fans bolt right up with no fitment issues at all. I've had 0 problems with it at all. It was as easy as take the old leaky one out and put the mishimoto in, it's slightly thicker so the brackets fit tighter but thats about it, no struggles.

I just bought a mishimoto radiator, but i'm actually a little conserned as the discription on my reciept states that it's for a "manual", yet my car is an automatic. My logic tells me that whether my car is manual or auto shouldn't matter if i'm just replacing the radiator, right? Can anyone shine some light on this for me? Thanks.

As long as you have a tranny cooler you should be fine.

Just replaced it a couple days ago. No problem with it. However I now need to buy the aftermarket slim line fans for it, as my OEM fans are now extremely close to my heat shield (like within a 1/4 inch). But thanks for all the help guys.
