Sub Frame connectors?????????

Is there not enough room for a DSM to use such a thing? My buddy just put a set on his LS1 and most of his rattles are GONE!

Car felt alot more soild etc

Ive seen them on STIs now and a few other cars, I think DSMs would benfit alot

RRE makes some for the front of fwd 1g's I know.

RRE considers the lower front of the 1g AWD strong enough in factory form. They do offer a rear upper tie bar for the top of the shock towers. In th past they offered a front upper from Greddy but it is no longer offered.

Would replacing the rubber subframe bushings with metal do anything to help?

Sure but delrin ones are usually enough.

Are we talking about the subframe connectors that link the front sub to the rear sub, as commonly used on GM f-bodies and some other uni-body cars? FWIW, those cars have no actual frame member connecting their front s/f to the rear s/f. Ours do (at least a 1g does). That is why they use them.
