stuttering prob at 3k or lower plz help

ok recently i put in a ffwd 2.0 built with everything i could afford. have act 272 cams, with camgears, untuned. heres my prob. its been driving for a couple of months now with no real probs, but as of recently ive been having a hard time starting her. today as i was driving i was cruising at 2600 rps, she starts to studder, i dont know whats up so i pull over pop the hood, and listen. give up turn her off for a bit while i decide what to do. say ok, well i'll start her just to see. she starts fine with no studder, pull back out onto the road, and am crusing at about 3k rpm, just testing. starts to studder, i floored it to see if it was mechanical and she still studdered, pulled off afain (seeing a trend) stopped her, checked plugs, wires and everything i could think of. start her and shes fine, driving again, above 3.2k and theres no probs, as soon as i drop down below that it starts to studder. im thinking electrical, any thoughts you all had would be hugely appreciated, am currently tearing it up in my garage, so i can post pics, and look at anthing right away thanks!

Random problems like that are usually electrical. I'm thinking it has something to do with your timing & spark system. Do you have any CEL indicating misfires or similar? It wouldn't hurt to check resistance in your sparkplug wires and coil.

I had a similar problem, where under WOT the engine would stutter at the top end. It turned out to be the #1 plug wire worked its way loose from the coilpack. Maybe the same thing is happening? Definitely sounds spark related.

update, one of my wires from my cas rewire had somehow popped out, got it fixed now. thanks everyone!
