this is my second post on this and I think I have the problem, or what I think is a problem, narrowed down. I recently had the head gasket and clutch replaced at the dealer. All stock stuff put in. Absolutely no modifications are done to my car. I don't think I had this problem before the work was done. Not absolutely sure.
Anyway when I first drive the car after it's been sitting overnight or for a number of hours it seems when I first hit the gas after shifting into first gear there is a hesitation. The car will start going, hesitate then go again. I thought it was only when my A/C was on (trying to troubleshoot) but it happened today as well when I took off without A/C on. I'm trying to figure out if I'm just a horrible shifter (not the greatest but not the poorest either) and with the fluids all cold my shifting habits cause this. Also this problem can be seen more when the car is on a hill and therefore there's more pressure for a better shift.
Just trying to figure out if my habits are the cause.
