I have a small problem..like a year ago i had ugly mirror tints on my car so I wanted to take them off. I did th most stupid thing a could ever done..I just ripped them off. By doing so I broke my defroster in the rear window..now i cant defrost even a small ice on my window...is there anything I could do to fix those lines on the window...please help... :(

Are there just small chunks of the wire missing or are all the wires damaged in multiple places?

I dont remember where I saw it (autoglass shop of some kind maybe?) but I did see some some stuff that looked sorta like a fingernail polish container with a brush on the cap that was electrically conductive and made especially for repairing small breaks in defroster lines. If you find it and it works post here... Several of the lines on mine dont work and its annoying to see the car defrosted except for a couple spots :p

there is a repair kit...i've never had to do it but i know there is one from a friends experience...i ripped off all my tint but the rear window on my old civic...i had to take that and get it taken off....they used a trash bag or some shyt to get it off...it was weird...but search on the net for rear window defroster repair or somethin

Yea, let us know if you find it. I myself have 3 lines that are broken and it gets on my nerves. I think permatex makes the repair kit, but Im not sure. Its been years since Ive seen one and Im just too lazy to google it.

EDIT: Well, I was curios and googled it anyway and this is what I found from permatex. Now, I wonder what stores cary it? Im sure any auto parts store can special order it for you. http://www.permatex.com/auto/autogr.asp?automotive=yes&f_call=get_item&item_no=15067
