Strut Tower Caps

My strut tower is rotted on both sides and won't pass inspection here Upstate NY. I've seen strut tower caps for the older Dodge/Plymouth vans and wondered if either somebody makes a strut tower cap for the 2g Eclipse or if the ones for the older vans will work. Not even sure how much a body shop will fix it for. Looking for suggestions. Definitely a job I can't tackle. Thanks.

you can take it some where and they can cut out the bad and weld in new or if it is to bad can always go to junk yard and see if they can cut the section out and you can get it welded into yours

I have yet to see the caps for these cars. I recommend replacing the whole strut tower over patching.

OK Thanks...I only saw the caps for older Dodge minivans. Don't know why they wouldnt make them for other vehicles...

Do you have any pics? I had the same problem on my 2g. The right side was rotted around the right edge of the strut tower. I know a very good welder and he cut all the bad metal out and replaced it with thick metal from a tool box. welded it in, seam sealer, bondo, paint. good as new!
