Strut Tower Bar Problem

I installed a Ractive Strut Tower Bar on my 96 Eclipse N/T yesterday. Is there any way to adjust the bar so I can that the OIL cap off with the bar on?

You have it on backwards I think. Try turning it around, put the bracket that you have on the right tower onto the left tower, that should make the bar sit back over the Intake Manifold.

i have the same problem, but i just tourque the bar alitlle and itll come out.be gentle.

I found some help on another site that suggests buying a lower profile oil cap. I took the cap off my Honda Prelude and it goes on and off fine. I will look to find a place to purchase a cap about the same size as my honda cap.
