I'm looking for a pic of the main cap. I'm using the Eagle H-Beam rods with a 100mm crank.

Just trying to get an idea of how much material I will be taking off.

I know its on the board, I just cant find it anymore. I've done countless searches! I guess i'm just not using the right combination of words. ROFL

I actually think it was a pic from your motor that I seen. Do you have that pic still ?

Ah ok. Worth the shot.

Anybody else ?

Not much..

With manley I-Beams you dont even need to touch the main caps..

The manleys arent much thinner than the eagles on the big end.. So not much..

Wow! I honestly didnt even know that I was going to need to clearance the bottom of the bore. I just thought it was going to be a main cap mod. Interesting!

Thanks alot for the pics.

Yeah the Eagle rods do have a larger big end on them. So the caps will need to be grinded on.

No prob.. A machine shop actually did that (Although i was voting for the die grinder myself) So the clearance between the block and rods is incredibly tight so you might need to go a little further.. Just be careful not to cut into the oil galley!

Good luck with your 2.3.. They're a blast..
