Hey ive been doing lots of reading for my project, and from what ive gotten out of it people say that u kind of have to pick between the stroker kit or low comp. pistons and turbo.. For 1100 abt i can get a stroker kit, or for 7-800 i can get forged internals assuming my old cranc is not , fkd ( dono havent pulled the engine yet) BUT YOU HAVE SEEN TEH PICTURES LOL. My question is can i get teh 2.2 L stroker kit and still turbo the Shi* out of it later. Id like to run 20 psi, 10 daily. My engine is getting shipped in like 3 days and i have to start getting all the parts together. Has it been done and is it safe?

I lost my decoder ring but I think you are asking if you can run high boost on a stroker motor. The answer here is yes. I run 25 psi on 93 pump gas.

ty.... thats Thank You, incase u havent found the decoder ring yet :)

I have one more question... hopefully not too dumb :|

can i just get the 2.2 crank and put any pistons and rods on them or do they have to be specific ones that work with that crank? I was thinking of the 2.2 crank and longrods along with some JE 8.6:1 pistons.

Did he just say arms ROFL. Okay I'm sorry I'm not much help on your question but I that just had to be said. Its Rods!

Anyways, Throwing the thread back on topic.

You need to lurk both here and on other forums and read up before making a purchase or attempting to do any of this. There is a good deal of info available that will bring you up to speed.
Usually what is done is that the piston's wrist pin location is raised. You're talking about a decent amount of money here and you owe it to yourself to do the research that will insure your project is a success.

20 psi on a 4g63... not a problem, on a 420a problem. After you build the motor fuel becomes a problem, along with spark. Hope your planning on getting either a portfuler w/ a crane box, or some cool stand alone unit... MS maybe?

Yes, i plan on having all the supporting mods to make it work. Its just a matter of a few months, i have abt a grand a month i can throw at the car, i have abt 2g's now and in a few days ill have another 700. So ill be alright. But, rite now im trying to decide between the stroker or just low comp rebuild...

Have you guys seen this yet?

Im thinking abt buying it, but he doesnt offer any info on it. Anyone hear of a star stage 3 kit?

That manifold works on honduhas, but not eclipses. Not enough hood clearance. Star does not make a "stage 3 kit". If you looking for a actual kit thats ment for the car dont do it. If you want to "play" and make it work, by all means do it up.

Those I/C pipes look like U bends of galvanized muffler pipe and are not beaded.
