i was taking off my driver side kick-panel to get to my ECU and i noticed a switch on the upper part of the panel. I was just wondering what is does.

thank you

i found one of those in my car too - a little black plunger switch - it doesn't seem to do anything so i figured that maybe it was left over from an alarm or something that a previous owner had

There was one in my GS. It turned out to be a kill switch. Push it and see if the car starts.

It's a 'fix it switch' anything goes wrong with you car, just flip and it's fixed :)

See where it wires into. Failing that it could be anything. Kill switch, clutch switch bypass, NAAWWWS....

I have seen ALOT of dummy's wire in a stereo amp on/off switch and place them in similar locations.

Seems theres alot off ppl that dont realize the fuse box generally has extra "switched" hot spots.. That can be used to control amps and other equipment.
