strange noise looking for fix

hey everyone whats up i got a problem with my 1998 N/T she's my baby and iv treated her bad i let her sit all last winter i recently moved her to my friends garage and when she is completely cold and i start her she ticks a bit then it goes away after a few seconds but a very faint little tick stays in between the valve cover and the intake mani i was wondering if there was anything i could run through her to clean everything up cause she was sitting so long any ideas? thanks
ps. i hope its not valve tick colud thi be and why?

well their is a couple simple things u can do. The best thing would be to run engine prolong treatment in your motor. idk if u can get it around their ### here it can be kinda hard to find. It will will help reduce friction and it has additives to help fix any wear in the cilynder walls. The next best thing would be to run a seafoam treatment witch will help clean up gunk and carbon deposits.

change your oil. my old car would get a tiny tick and changing the oil fixed it.

Check your belts too. Sometimes a belt can strip a little and that peice could be hitting your engine. I had a tick and it ended up being my AC belt....cut it off and no more noise . It may not be the case...but its worth a shot.

thanks everyone its funny you mention because i recently removed my ac and only have ps now and ill try the seafoam any particular to do it on our car i mean which tube i should suck it up any help would be great thanks.

and as for the oil i just changed i used mobile 1 fully synthetic 5w-30

for seafoam u dump it in your oil when u do an oil change and just run it like that untill your next change

for seafoam u dump it in your oil when u do an oil change and just run it like that untill your next change

Seafoam is meant to only be used in the oil for <100 miles and then changed out again. What would be the point in cleaning all the carbon/deposits off of your pistons, rods, and cleaning out the head if you just leave the oil in there to have that stuff floating around again.

Change your oil within 100 miles if using Seafoam in your oil.

so sucking it up from the pcv valve in the valve cover isnt a good idea im looking for the best way to seafoam or the most effective way atleast

use the lardge vacuum line come off your vacuum booster to your IM. but do it slowly. it will run into your IM and your combustion chamber.

The round black thing that your brake fluid canister sits in front of is your brake booster. There is a rubber hose that goes from it to your intake manifold. They are saying to use that hose.
