Ok guys, I'm a little out of the loop when it comes to appropriately sizing my injectors here.
I will be running STRAIGHT E85.
STOCK 7 bolt in EXCELLANT shape, DSM link w/wideband set-up,GM MAF/translator/blowthrough, cutom FMIC and piping, JMF intake manifold, BC 272 cams, DNP manifold, TD06 20g,
The injectors are really my only question area........... I have a set of 1000's here. The rest of my fueling is taken care of. I have plenty of pump , lines, rail, AFPR, etc.
Will the 1000's be enough for my needs running the straight E85 ? I will be running the 20g at its limits.
I want to keep IDC's in the 80-85% range.................... NO MORE !
Am I better :
1. running the 1000's
2. picking up some FIC 1150's for a little more headroom
3. getting some 1600's and not worrying about anything other then some low end driveability issues which can be worked out. I just don't want to be getting 1600's and ABSOLUTELY not need them. It's not worth it for me to go through the lowend tuning issues, etc.
