Hey I just did the Eclipse 2Gb Conversion for the front only, and am noticing that the bottom of my bumper scrapes when pulling out of my drive way..
I dont know if my last bumper did, as i never really cared (the new bumper is freshly painted so i am some what more concerned)
Any ways to the point, Is it normal to scrape a little on stock ride heght? (I also got 17" rims if that makes a difference)
I am kind of scared as I plan to lower my car next season (with Eibach pro kit) so IF I scrape now... i can only imagine how bad it will be later OMG

edit: I also thought I would ask if any one knows the distance from the bottom of the bumper to the ground and/or the gap of the wheel well?
Thanks!

Its not really steep. It only scrapes on the gutter part... and only when I back out when i get home and drive up no scraping.
It happens RIGHT when my front wheels roll off the drive way and land on the actual road.

Well the eclipse front bumper is low but it shouldn't scrape were you going over like 10 ft speed bump or something ROFL

mine does that too...you could always go the other direction with the car and be all monster trucked out:p

i just park mine in the street...

As you posted already your scraping now and it will get worse after you lower the car. You could always put something over the gutter part of your driveway. Other then that theres not much to do to help you.

my uncle has a driveway just like that, as you back out the front wheels sort of "fall" through the dip in the drain ditch and when the weight comes down it tends to compress the suspension just enough to scrape the bumper, just come out at an angle, one front wheel at a time

Thanks for the replies.. But I do come out on an angle and that is fine.. just some times thats not possible (I have a big "Decoration" rock on one side.. and a minivan on the other :p)

Any ways thanks again :)
