if its gonna be a 10 second car and youre doing it, why are you on to0nerz asking the difference between a t28 and a t3/t4?

laf. you'll never ever run 10's.
 
On the turbo, i had already made up my mind to use the t3/t4, i was just looking for a second opinion. I dont have anymore questions. I know all about the fuel system and what i need.
 
We have a few American cars out in my garage too. 2 of them run 10's, 1 will run 8's once the blower is fixed, but that doesn't mean I can just go out and make my talon run 10's. But good luck...
 
talon + money + tuning = 10s

its not that hard, im not saying i could do it, but if the right parts are bought, at the advixe of the right people, are installed corectly and then tuned by a reputable shop, there is no reason that the car will not reach the time goal, driver skill is an important factor as well.

im just playing the devils advocate cause there is realy no reason in bashing this kid just cause he sounds like he might not know a whole lot.

I guess my two cents is, that if you indeed want to run tens, the most reliable way to do it, would be an AFPR, a 255 LPH pump, A good fuel filter, and posibley some an lines to conect it all up, i dont even think the rail becomes a problem, but it may.
 
Yes i know that ten's are hard to get to. It does take considerable effort and money to get a car there, in particular an import due to the small engines. I will most likely get the t3/t4E with the 50 trim compressor in the .63 housing. I'm choosing the 50 over the 60 cause i will be doing mostly street driving with this and want the turbo to spool sooner. And just fyi, i grew up around drag racing and working on cars, i'm just a little newer to the import racing but i'm getting it pretty quick. I'm not the newbie who doesn't know anything about the bolt-ons and stuff like that. I know all that stuff, i'm just askin these questions cause i've never used a turbo before.
