I'm doin some chages to my fuel system and I just want to make sure this set up will work.I checked some threads out but couldnt find what I was lookin for.I bought a OBX fuel rail for the 420A motor, and I want to do away with my stock FPR.I know I can just take out the stock FPR and plug the hole in the filter. So I'm gonna run a return from the new Fuel rail under my hood. Can I use the AFPR that came with my turbo kit in place of the stock FPR.Have a line come off the fuel rail,go to the AFPR,then to my 12:1 FMU,then to the return fitting on my tank?

Did your stock fuel system have the FPR on the fuel rail, or in the rear, near the fuel tank?

You could use an aftermarket AFPR to replace your stock FPR, but you should now that an AFPR and aftermarket fuel rail are completely unnecessary if you're still using a 12:1 FMU.

I decided to go that way because I got a good deal on a new FR and I want to shorten my vac line goin to my FMU by puttin it under the hood.Allso it will be easier for me to hook up a fuel gauge to were I can keep a eye on the pressure and one of the bolts that hooks up my fuel line to my stock rail is stripped out alittle.I just wanted to know if the afpr can be used instead of a stock one, with a FMU?plus I aready have a AFPR and a AutoMeter fuel pressure gauge with hood cup so I might as well use them.It might seem like over kill but I needed another fuel rail any way so I got the OBX.$74 (yes I have the fpr in the back by my tank.my FMU right now is mounted under my car right in the center right beneath the rear of my center consul. But its hard to keep a eye on my vac line,(to long) so I want that under my hood as well.)I'm curious if my plan for set up is correct? Fuel rail-AFPR-FMU-return line on tank.Plug fuel filter with proper size bolt with thread sealer.

WTF

I'm doing my best to decipher your posts... perhaps you could try organizing your longer ones into paragraphs.

I don't understand why you would need a new fuel rail, but I think what you're doing will work. Of course you'll have to install a return line, but everything should work. The sequence of components will be something like this:

Fuel pump > feed line > fuel filter > fuel rail > AFPR > FMU > return line > fuel tank
