I just put a 12" slim cooling fan (imperial or torqflo that you can get from autozone or advanced auto) and it flows much less than the stocker. My stock fan had been chopped down a little to fit the 50 trim and I was trying to keep the temp below 210 where it sits constantly. This aftermarket fan claims to flow 800cfm and 625 when its in front of the radiator. Well my temps now sit at 213. So with that being said, it shows that a hacked up, blade chopped down, stock fan will still flow better than the cheap aftermarket jobbers.

'Cheap' being the key word here. Next time, try a quality unit from somebody like Flex-A-Lite or Spal.

Yeah, i did the same thing about a year ago. I got these slim chepo fans, and they totally sucked!! I did some reasearch and got 2 spal 12" fans for a little over $200 for both. they flow like 1680 cfm each, and they really kick ass. In the summer I leave them on all the time, and they keep me at 178 to 185, and it really gets hot here. Get A high end fan and you will love it!:talon:

I'm using the stock radiator fan and I think it works best. I had a 12'' fan from SBR but still had cooling problems. I have an un-hacked stock 2g radiator fan and it fits just fine with my SBR exhaust manifold and PTE 5031 turbo. I ditched the a/c fan and put a slimline 'pusher' fan between the a/c condenser and my FMIC.

Have you tried to putting in a colder thermastat? I was having cooling problems and I put a 180* in and i have never seen over 200* temps since then and that is with only one 12" CHEAP autozone fan And i still have A/C and i use it all the time.

I run a 10" and 12" no name ebay slim fans wired on the passenger side circuit and have no cooling issues. Both are wired togeather on the same circuit so when you would normally have one fan come on both my fans come on and it works like a champ. And I have a FMIC to boot.:thumb:

intresting.. here is what i did and i have yet to see if it works but!

(1) 12' spal pusher and (1) 10' pusher fan both in front of the rad.. so i can have the stealth ninja WHERE THE F**K is this guy's rad fan game...

Pics will be soon.. btw both are hacked into the stock harness so i can plug it in and un plug it when need be..
