Well today my wife took my car to school. When she got home it was very windy. as she was opening the door the wind blew the door wide open very fast.
Now the door looks like it is about 2'' off from where it latches on and i had too lift it up maybe a 1'' so it would close. Do you think the hinges may have broke or the just came lose? I looked but could not see because it is to dark and windy.
Dang door man that suka weighs like alot.

the only thing that stops that door is the hinge
There is a doorstop on the 2gs, it in between the top and bottom door hinge on the door.

I agree with 1slow97, but check your bolts before you go spending money.

Since you said that you had to lift the door your doorstop shouldn't be the problem.

Well today i removed the hinges and then reinstalled them but the door is 1.25'' off.
I have to lift it up some what to close the door. One of the threads is striped where the bolt holds the hinge on the body of the car. I dont know if that could be the problem.
It got dark on me so i have to figure it out in the morning.
That is a dsm for you something always breaks on it.:|

well i dont know what the problem is. But i am thinking it is the hinges.
So i will see if i can find some at a junk yard. How much should i pay for hinges?
This one junk yard wanted like $35 just for the door stoper. I am like what this is not fn new man this used. Any how it is hard to find parts for a dsm around here.

Help me out man. I got the hinges and the door still sags down. oh and the 2 threads are striped on the bottom hinges. how can i fix the threads do i need thicker bolts?
