2G Stock 2G Torque Converter weak?

Simple question. I've heard from a friend that the stock 2G lockup converters are weak and grenade after 300-350whp due to the lockup in them. Has anyone found the limits of the stock 2G Torque Converter? This just sounds like BS to me, but I've never pushed a stock 2G Torque Converter. I've pushed a stock 1G torque converter to 400ish awhp and seen countless others push it to the 500-560hp region(beansblacktsi for one), but never the stock 2G unit.



SO, short and sweet. Is this BS, or is the stock 2g turbo converter actually legitimately weak past 300whp?

he doesn't know what he talkin bout, lots of examples of 2gs on stock converters making power,300-350 is 16g level my auto car took that all day long with like 150k and stock trans no problems
