I just lowered my car about two inches and I used the long bolt/ washer style camber kit in the back. I used 1/2 stacks of washers and i can barely see a difference. Should I add another 1/4 inch to each stack, or wouldn't it make a difference, or be unsafe? I'm taking it in for alignment Monday, and i obviously don't want to screw with it after that. Am I just destined to have noticeable negative camber after a drop?

I just realized my post didn't clarify: I used a 1/2 inch stack, or 6 washers. I just wanna know if it would be beneficial to add 3 more. Any more than that and I'll probably be hitting the wheel well, not to mention it can't be safe riding with that much space behind the c arm, can it?This is a 2" drop, mind you so the neg camber is definitely noticeable

Adding more than 6 washers will be unsafe. And even with 4-6 washers you need a longer grade 8.8 minimum (10.9 would be better) bolt or not enough threads will be in the chassis and it will loosen up or pull out (personal experience). M10x1.25x30-40mm depending on number of washers. Make sure for whatever number of washers you use you have a bolt as long as you can WITHOUT bottoming out or you may damage/rip the threads in the chassis due to all the force on too few threads (mine did when it wasn't long enough).

FWD rear camber is spec'd at -1*40' (+/-30').
If you can't get it in the range with 6 washers, you may have to use more exotic camber solutions (like adjustable ball joint or camber plate): http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/457480-camber-issued.html#post153202458. Or just leave it.

You must re-adjust toe after camber adjustment as it will change. Remember improper toe is what always and instantly wears tires - not camber (unless it's absurd like >5*).

thanks so much for the input. I have grade 8.8 35 and 40mm bolts (home depot only had 4 40mm in stock, so i have two of each per side) and 6 washers on each. I think I'll play it safe, especially since 9 washers on a 35mm bolt seems absurd. The front isn't bad at all. I'm taking her to the alignment shop Monday, so as long as I'm close to spec I'll be happy.
