Sticker shadow

I decided to take off the eagle symbol on my back bumper and everything turned out great except im left w/ a slightly noticable sticker shadow. Its not noticable until you get up on the car, but its something that will end up bothering me so i was wondering what i could use to get rid of it or mask it. I was thinking a light rubbing compound, but i wanted to get some ideas first before i start trying stuff.

Any attempt to obliterate it will only make it worse.

Always park so that you approach the car from the front.
