hey all, still on the probationary thing... got a question for you all, anyone have any other type of steering wheels other than OEM, 3g, or evo steering wheels? aside from the quick release, which i know the possibilities are endless on that. i did a little research before on this site, someone had mentioned a steering wheel that fits and all. now, i know which steering wheel it is, and i currently own one (just need to get the air bag). air bag is not direct plug and play, but i dont plan on crashing LOL. i know the path i am going on for it, and to be quite honest, i actually want to see if anyone else has ever tried before what i have now, and if not... let me be the first! thanks for all the feedback and responses in previous posts!

It's not oem dsm, 3g, or Evo, but it's from a 2002 Diamante VRX. What wheel are you intending on installing?

Is the VRX wheel a smaller diameter than the DSM's and does the airbag work?

I am at the highest steering wheel tilt setting and my hands rub against my legs. I wonder who can actually use the wheel with it at the lowest tilt location...

Yes, the VRX and DSM wheels are about the same size. The airbag doesn'twork becauseI removed it all long ago and didn't want one in there, but they do have the same connectors.

I always keep my wheel at the lowest tilt.

The wheel I found is smaller than the oem. I am going to install my new dash tomorrow (9/23) and if I remember, I will get some pics of the wheel installed. Thanks for the input guys!
