Steel or Aluminium Intake?

I'm not talking about the intake manifold. I'm refering to "intake" as in "cold air intake".
Is it better for it to be made from steel or aluminium?

who makes a steel one? I would think aluminum would be better, if anything its at least lighter.

FP, Injen, HKS.. etc are made from aluminum. I use Stainless Steel and it works well also.

It doesnt really matter. The turbo is going to heat up the air to a given temp regardless of whether the intake tube is steel or aluminum. The downside to steel is that in very humid areas, it can begin to get rust scale inside of it which will eventually get sucked into the engine, but that is in extreme conditions. Generally, after the turbo, aluminum is better for its heat dissipation properties.

I pesonally run steel intake pipe and ic piping and have never had any issues with it what so ever. Evin in the humid VA climate, I have yet to get any signs of rusting inside the pipes.

Ok thx guys. By the way, the intake that I'm refering to is a Dejon type and has been discontinued but a guy is selling one in my area so that's why I want to get it.
