I just finished replacing a piston/ the head in my car. In the process I broke 2 of 4 bolts that bolt the exhaust manifold to the o2 housing. However the car still starts, and will continue to run if I keep my foot on the gas, and will even drive a ways, but it will not idle. Is it possible that the two broken bolts are responsible for the car dying? Or should I be looking for another problem? I plan on taking care of these bolts and replacing the o2, I just don't have the tools to remove such highly torqued bolts, so the o2 is stuck where it is for now. Please help me out if it is not the the broken bolts I haven't the slightest idea what the problem is.

Well when you pulled off the head you have to remove a whole lotta Vacuum hoses. #1 Check Engine Timing! #2. Check for boost leaks! #3. Check to make sure CAS isn't installed 180* off. #4. Make sure all sparks are firing in the correct order and that the injectors are spraying fuel (clicking when turning CAS). #5 Check throttle cable. #6 Adjust BISS screw because it may have been not set properly before installing the new stuff (take proper steps).

#7. Report Back!
