starting flooded engine?

My dam always floods out when I try to start it when its really cold like 0 degrees. My plugs are wet with gasoline. Will holding the accelerator to the floor while turning the engine on shut off the fuel?

This only happens when its really cold. I've had the battery charger on for hours and have pulled the plugs out multiple times today and let them dry. I put them back in and it I turn my car over for 5 seconds the plugs are soaking wet again

Test your coolant temp sensor. My car does the same thing.

Yeah check the battery so your not flooding the engine, it has been really cold my new battery died this morning. 14 degrees burrrr.

Battery is reading 13 volts. I've tryed jump starting it also. Would I get a check engine light if my coolant temp sensor was bad?

I never did if in doubt replace it call it preventive maintenance, versus being stuck somewhere.

My torque app which connects to obd2 is reading 5 degrees for coolant temperature. It is about that temperature outside
