starter positive terminal?

I just wanted to make sure before i hook everything up tomorrow and try to start the car... is this the positive terminal on my starter?

I have the negative grounded to my transmission/starter bolt. And the small wire hooked to the middle of the starter

I am preaty sure it is.Hook up some jumper cables to your battery ground the starter and tap it with the positive its a good way to make sure it will work after you install it.

damn... ok so i hook it to the other 1. and the original terminal doesnt get anything hooked to it right? or i guess the terminal on the right connects the starter and the solenoid together... got it

as said before. it goes on he other on. that has the power, the plat plug is for the solenoid that turns the starter motor on. the one with the arrow is wired to the starter motor. i found this out the hard way.

well im glad i asked then. i was about to find out the hard way too. long busy stressful day.

Just the wire that's hooked to it already that goes to the starter motor , if you hooked the positive battery cable to that one the starter motor would always be on.
