Starter part compatibility question

What starters will work for my car? I have a 92 AWD Talon with a build date of June 92, so I'm assuming its a 7-bolt. I wanna know if the 6 bolt ones will work, or even the N/T ones. I plan on going to the junkyard soon. Thanks.

i dunno if this helps much, but im pretty sure that the 90's wont... i know we have a different ecu cuz our ignition system is different...

Found a couple, so are the 91-94 all turbo ones ok? or the 2.0 n/t ones as well?

I found my car to be a 6 bolt instead. This may change things...Can somebody just check their parts CD until I get mine? Thanks.

90-94 awd starters will work. The ignition is different from 90 but the starter is the same.

Has to be awd and manual if you have manual or auto if you have auto. Auto and manual are different and awd is different from fwd.

Alright, thanks a lot. Mine is clicking a little bit on start up, may not be disengaging. After I put another one in, I'm gonna take it to autozone and get it tested. Then maybe see if its fixable. Thanks again though.
