Try ebay..I have been looking for a good price on a turbo kit and there is some that have a really cheap buy it now price on hahn racecraft and star kits..so I would check there once in awhile..just type in "420a turbo" or "420a kit" usually works for me...:dsm:

I don't use ebay when you get over the $500 mark. Lots of scammers....(personal experience) I got my kit from DiamondStar Specialties, and had a really good experience. Their prices were about the best I found too.

Wouldnt trust ebay either, i actually almost got scammed while attempting to buy a 1400 new/only opened turbo kit, fortunately i realized the scam before i send the money, anyway, i bought my kit on Importparts.com, they have GREAT customer service and they shipped my kit in less than a week!! dont know how they did it but i liked it!
Good luck on your 420 a project :thumb: :dsm:

ebay seems to have some great prices on a weekly basis. I have been looking at piecing togeather my own kit. check out www.thestreetsource.net he has some good prices on a stage one turbo kit with-out a fuel system (around 1400). you can put a fuel system togeather from ebay for under $200. only bad part is i dont think you get install instructions.

star just pieced togeather the kit right?

it's not a "star" t304b turbo, it's a greddy turbo right?

my point is that you compare the kit's and decide which parts you like.

for 1400 i can get in my opinion better parts and i comes with an a/f gauge and a boost gauge and a bezzle. tial wastegate and a few other cool things.

to each there own a 420a can only go so fast anyway.

thats true about the star kit, never looked at it like that. Turbonetics supplies the star kits with their turbos, not greddy. The T3T4 is a turbonetics turbo, as is all the T series turbos.

Ahh..... T for turbotronics i get it now. I really did no that i just got the two kit mixed up the one i am looking at comes with a greddy........ i think. i don't remember i cant afford one right now anyway.

where is the best place to get a star turbo kit for the 420a?(stage 1 or 2) where can i get one the cheapest?

I got my stars kit off of ebay..from JTmotoring. Kit came in about 2 weeks. If using ebay set up paypal account it's safe knowing where your money has gone instead of sending a money order or check. I've had great experiences on ebay and saved hundreds, just check feedbacks before bidding.
