star kit question

i have a 99 eclipse rs want to go with a star stage 2 question is my buddy told me i cant use the fmu it wont work because i dont have a fuel return on my fuel rail i guess so what do i do to tune please explain how this is true or not true im new and want to do this right the first time

i had the same problem, the fuel return only came on the 95 eclipse 420a which is pretty ###. But there is a solution but its odd, First your gonna need a new fuel rail and not the stock one so toss that shitty evil thing out for not having a return line. Than go on ebay or something and get a 420a OBX fuel rail, they come with the return line bolt and shit, run your return hose now underneath your back seat were the fuel pump is (this is the odd part) some eclipse's have a plug from were the fuel return line is suppose to go they just have a little cap over it, some dont so your gonna have to my guess is tap the return hose to there. Mine however had the cap so i didnt have to worry i just ran the hose back into there, everything is all good now.
