Stalling when clutch is engaged and clutch won't come back up

Hello I'm have some problems with my clutch. About a week ago it started stalling when I push in the clutch and hold it in for to long. It doesn't happen when I release it fast or when I'm idling. When I push it in at idle it won't stall but the rpms drop a little and my vac pressure drops slightly. Also when it does stall sometimes the clutch won't come back up and I have to lift it with my foot. I'm hoping to rule of crank walk since I just had the whole engine rebuilt exactly 2000 miles ago. I also had the clutch and flywheel replaced because when I got the car the last owner put the wrong clutch set up in the car. Now I have a stage 4 compation clutch and flywheel set up in it. Any advice would be great. Also I just did a blt and only leak I had was my throttle body gasket which I replaced.

I would check for a leaking clutch slave and master cylinders, or in any of the hydrolic lines in between.

Check the crankshaft end play.

second the above, only other thing i could think of is maybe they torqued the pressure plate wrong.

Thank you Guys for the fast responses. Ill check that when I get home on Monday after all the work I put into this thing I hope it's not crank walk. I'm thinking of replacing the clutch kit with a stage 2 act because the compation clutch is stiff and hard to get into gear not to mention reverse always grinds no matter what.

I had an issue like this and it was a spun main bearing.
