im thinkin bout doing a custom stainless uicp could i just get a muffler shop to cut an bend me a piece of 3inch stainless exhuast? whata guys think? good idea, bad idea?

If you are talking about using the 3inch for the UICP that sounds like overkill. I would go 2.5 at most.

well i was debateing 2.5 or 3 i have a fmic but the guy i got it from kept the factory uicp pipeing. i'll go 2.5 inch then

yes, you can make your own pipes, as long as theres no leaks

I would use a lighter metal than Steel.

Not much at all.

But if you are building it then do it the best way you can. If you take the weight into account everytime you do something it will all add up.

if your planning on welding a BOV flange on, i'd go with steel cause its more rare and harder to weld aluminum than steel.
