hey, im looking at getting some cams. on a few sites Ive seen a lot of the NT guys getting BC (Brian Crower) Stage 2 cams. has anyone here had any experience with them? also did you get them from the BC site? cause i cant find them on their site but i did email them. any info is much appreciated.

Also im looking at getting a new exhaust system. i know a lot of people just get the EBay ones and that they work just fine, and i was going to go that route, but i decided to get a brand name one. im debating on two.. the HKS Hi Power for $492.00 from optionsauto.com and the GReddy Ti-C for $527.00. im leaning towards the HKS, mostly cause i like HKS and their products. now both systems sound really good, with the HKS just a little quieter/deeper. but the GReddy, has a nice rumble to it. has anyone here had any experience with either of these exhausts? thnx for your time and reading.

PS sorry if this is in the wrong section. just looking fr some people with experiances and opinions. good and bad thanx

the only cams ive heard of/about for the 420a ar Brians and OBX. i heard alot of bad about OBX and few good. and alotta good for BC. but its not listed on their site... what are some other brands out there?

really? i thought ive seen a few ppl with them? i might have them mixed up though LOL obx are like the only other ones i know of... ive heard some good. but more ppl say no about there products

I know this a bad comparsion but when I had a hi power on wrx it wasn't loud which was good but it was also very raspy which I also didn't like as well I voted for the greddy, good luck.

^^thanx they both have a nice sound to them the GReddy seems a little more aggressive. but they do change sound over time though. still cant make up my mind! LOL

I had the BC 280's for a while on my car (turbo) and they are kinda crappy. You get what you pay for. If you are going to spend that much money on a part save a little more and get a good one. I wouldn't recommend any BC products because I have not had good results and lots of problems. For cams go with HKS, Kelfords, or FP's

well, you seem like your kinda set on a greddy or hks exhaust.. but I personally would go to a shop and have them bend you a nice exhaust for a decently cheap price. With the money you save, you could almost afford a set of cams also..best of both worlds?

thanx guys. ya i was going to go EBay with the exhaust. but i decided i might aswell get brand name. idk i might go cheap yet LOL. and ya BC doesnt have cams for the 420a i looked. only ones i found are OBX. and i heard alot of ppl say not to trust them for internal parts. but ive read a few ppl have them and they do just fine. so i guess its all kinda luck no matter which way you go? im just trying to find a nice sounding exhuast, not to raspy, low deep rumble. and a nice set of cams that i DONT need to uppgrade anything else in my head for. kinda stupid i know. but the OBX are teh only ones that are like that (that ive found) if anyone can suggest some good cams that would be good. or a nice cheap-ish good sounding exhaust that'll help me alot. but thanx for the help guys!
