ok since i can't post in the tech article section i am going to post a few things here since i have not found much on the hks exhaust on this site.

My new catback showed up today and i was all happy since i am actually starting my first build, so i took the car to our garage jacked it up and started to work on getting the old exhaust off, LOL yeah right! the first bolt i touched was the one in the far back holding the muffler up, and it broke right away, along with both of the bolts to the cat, the O2 had to be heated up and it came loose just fine as well did everything else. the good part is after drilling the cat out and getting everything ready for the new exhaust, i realized the hks system starts at 2.5in. then expands the 3.0in all the way back, WOOT i totally did not know that LOL. now for those who don't know the hks system will require you to buy all new bolts to mount it, they only include the gasket to bolt the two pipes they send together, you need metric bolts, i ran out of time tonight to get them plus i have to buy a new gasket that goes from the cat back. i will post some pics when i am done in the morning after i get back from college, well more like will try to get some decent pics from under the car and such for y'all.
