So I got my new Turbo Xs High performance MBC :D

However, I get about 20 spike in 2nd gear at WOT, but in 3rd gear im getting 24 spike.

It drops to about 12-13 Psi after spike.

This is bad for my motor correct ? I only want 18-20 Psi steady, but if its going to spike like that I'll hit like 30 and blow my motor right ?


Btw NO PORTING what-so-ever and i'm not seeing ANY creep :thumb: just mean spike.

So How can I get this thing to stop spiking?

I'm running refference from the Bov line atm cause I don't want to tap the turbo and don't have the time or will to work on my car anymore this week after the gruelling 4 day build in 100+ degree heat :sosad:

I did notice that I can shorten my line to the Bov a few inches maybe that will bring the spike down some ?


Anyone with a solution please help me out , I'd be ever so happy :thumb:

I had the same exact problem. Shortened the length of the vacuum lines as short as possible and reduced the diameter of them. I was using 2 different sizes in the same lines.

Fixed me right up...

I shortened my Refference line as much as I could also shortened the Bov line
Which is where my refference comes from atm, NO CHANGE.

Mean spike to about 21 psi in second and huge spike in 3rd to 24-25 psi BOTH dropping to 12 psi , so I guess I'm at 12 psi :notgood:

If I turn the boost up to like 18-20 psi where I want it won't it spike to like 30 then ? thats my bigest worry, or will the spike go away if I up the boost ?

Is my Type S bov capable of Handling my SBR G50 ?

Also they welded my bov flange all crocked and the only dump tube I could get on there has a sick Z bend in it and kinks pretty good, with it on, my car would not boost right it kept bogging at like 5k and sputtering WTF

Sorry for all the questions but I"m lost what to do, when it spikes to 20+ my car is fast :cool: but I don't want to blow shit up LOL and without my dumpm tube the car runs like ass at idle and stalls after a hard run if I coast to a stop :notgood:
