Sup peeps? Ok after looking at it again(ALT. adn belt) I hooked up the volt meter to check my volts off the back of the ALT. it was 12.34 volts. This is a brand new(rebuilt) ALT. It was replaced 2 weeks ago. When I crank my car it squels load. when idleing it goes away until u give it gas. Then it squels even louder. Is this the ALT. or water pump making this noise? Here lately my temp guage is going up to halfway and I think I'm burning off coolant and water. I need suggestions....All is listened to.......

And yes the head gasket and head have been replaced. About 6 months ago. After this I have to see why I'm not boosting up. I'm only showing 1 to 2 pds of pressure. Peeps have told me that it might be my exhuast sytem. I have 3 in piping with no cat out to a 4in. N1 muffler..WTF

fun-flyer,
Did you check your harmonic balancer (crank pulley)?
How about your belts?
The squealing lies within one of the two, probably the crank pulley if it is old.

replaced the balancer and the squeling was still there. Come to find out it wsa the water pump bearing going bad. Changed it out(took 3 hrs). Know everything is cool and no squels...
