squeaky noise on right passenger side of car

hey guys i have this squeak on the right front passenger side of my car... sounds like a ball joint but if the car is parked and you rock that side up and down it wont squeak so it cant be a balljoint right?? But another thing i noticed is that it will only squeak when i hit the gas... and when i let off it stops sqeaking??? Any Ideas??

a ball joint will make a knock sound most of the time. If its only when you press the gas, and let off of it thats more of the up/down (torque) motion the car makes. Check your wheel bearings as i have heard squeaking complaints comming from them. A bearing is usually a resonation but it has to start somewhere. good luck man man. I hope i helped a little bit.

a wheel bearing can be done easily if you have no rust on your car. mine went and i needed a whole new hub and a bearing becuase it shattered when i was trying to pull it for a CV replacement. get a 2g repair manual (bible) if you want to try it yourself. they have step-by step instructions and illustrated pictures. its really easy and pretty fun to do. good luck man Post of PM if you have any more questions
