hey venom, seems liek u painted over that third brake light (above the cetner taillight area) thats right above where the eclipse sign is on the back...i was asking around, and no one had done it. seems like you did. so my question is, did u disconnect the wires, or does it still light up under that silver paint? only spyders have this one, the non spyders have it by the back windsheild

Non spyders have it on spoiler not by the back windsheild. I did disconnect the wires but if you'll put a lot of paint coats it will not light up under...

I think it looks kinda gawdy, but thats IMO. I have a red spyder, so the light from a ways away looks like it is painted. Thats why I am biased on keeping it red. BTW, isn't it a federal mandated law that all vehicles must have 3 brake lights on the rear of the vehicle?

I had a shop here locally put my motor together, I didn't have any oil squirters installed because I didn't know about them til about 3 weeks ago. I still don't know for sure if the 2.4 SOHC has them or not. I didn't do hardly any research on anything other than the head swap. I decided to get the pistons and stuff when I had my head off and just thought, what the hell. I did have my stock oil drain holes freeze plugged. I dunno how much HP I am putting down cuz I am still not tuned. I just put-put around town, boosting rarely. I have only put about 2k miles on it, never driven on the freeway more than about 15 miles, so I don't know a whole lot about the reliability.

I also have a boosted 4g64 and for what it is, it is a torque monster. I have completely stock internals, a Evo III and starion fmic. I havent done the head swap yet, but it is a direct bolt on and actually have to fill some holes in on the block. I've had mine for about four months boosting 9 psi (stock internals w/110k). There is a whole different group that deals with all this if you would like.

That picture is fantastic, is it edited with photoshop, or did whoever had taken it, have experience with photography.

What kind of camera did you use then?

not sure of the camera he used. i use a kodak 5.0 megapixel digital camera. at light settings like that you need a tripod in order for the picture to come out sharp.
