Hey guys, has anyone seen a spyder with a 6 point roll cage it in? I think it would look pretty cool with the top down and way safer. Any pics would be great!

I personally really like it, i was looking for the front bars to be going along the side on top if that makes any sense. Like a hardtop roll cage but in the spyder almost.

The guy who owns the spyder shown in the forum banner has a roll cage like what you're describing. I think his username is Gixxerdrew. I know that's not how it's spelled, but similar. Can't say I wouldn't mind a similar cage in mine when I'm done modding it.

Dont like it at all. Andrew Brilliant's, aka gixxerdrew, old cage in his spider when he was doing the salt flats looks sweet. He had a company out in california called Yoshifab do his. Though its not for the guys with small pockets. Think it was over 2k for it. Yoshifab will also require the car to be there because it is all custom fitted to your car. Its all welded in. No bolt in on that cage. If any one is interested in the actual price they sent me i can get the email from yoshifab. Also Andrew's cage still allowed for 100% functionality of his top.

I want a roll bar, but if I get one, I'm having a titanium tube constructed for the inside and have them modded together so if I do wreck, there's a little more roll over protection.

Thats what a roll cage is for. Roll over protection

Well I know what its for and what it does. What I'm getting at is that I'm thinking of one of the normal bolt on ones so I don't have the bars running beside the seats (ease of entry), and so my not so practicaly sized rear seat is still semi-functional for my daughter to sit in. She's still kinda small for the front.....:aha:
