springs not low

got a set of progressive springs rom ebay saying 2.25 inch drop but when i installed them, the car is still stock height, i was wondering if i installed them wrong or if its just the springs, btw car is a 93 talon tsi fwd

can you find the auction description so I can see the spring? Is it like a coilover unit (not likely for a progressive spring) or is it just a drop in lowering spring?
 
If you can, be sure that you got the correct springs for your application. Also, make sure you installed them correctly (fronts in front, rears in rear, right side up at all corners, etc). Also, if they were less expensive springs, they might need time to settle.
