i have a 1995 eclipse gst 5 spd and the turbo guage works the oil guage works fine the tempt works and the gas works.. but the speed or revs do not work ): i was wondering if anyone knew if it was a bad cluster/speedometer or is it the speed sensor or something please help...

i don't know how to check for a bad cluster but try to swap out the power transistor for a known good one. i had the same problem, the car ran great and everything but the tach wasn't working so i swapped out the power transistor and it fixed that.. as for the speed sensor, try to disconnect it and clean it off a little and reconnect it. that could be your problem.

i just had to replace my speed sensor and the tach wasnt effected when it went out. all the other gauges worked except speed. so there is most likely a fault somewhere in or close to the cluster causing the issue.

i would try swapping the cluster and see if that fixes the issue.
