Hey guys, I have a 95 eclipse rs basically all stock, nothing fancy. Recently when Ive been driving I noticed that the tach needle would sometimes freeze at the 2k mark and stay while I would come to a stop. Once I started going again and revved past that the needle re engaged and functioned fine, including returning to standard idle around 900. Now on my way home today my speedo and tach literally froze in place and do not move. The tach is sitting around 2k and the speedo is just above 20 mph. As soon as they froze I noticed that my rpms would surge up and down whenever I pushed the clutch in while slowing down. So im not quite sure what all this could be, although this all did happen at the exact same time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, not sure if this matters but ever since i bought the car the coolant temp gauge never worked. I checked the gauge sensor (smaller/lower sensor) under thermostat housing and it was all corroded. I bought a new sensor hoping it would fix my gauge but nothing happened. Im not sure if any of gauges work at all now, maybe the gas gauge works but its not like it moves noticeably to determine that. Could any of his just be a fuse?

UPDATE: Just drove the car and gauges now decided to work and the rpm surging is virtually gone. But I notice the idle is fine for a little then almost sounds like it has a miss, then goes back to normal again. Another thing is that when slowing down in gear, around 2k rpm the car starts bucking wildly. It never has done that before. Any help please?

Only thing I did was my clutch master cylinder broke. So I just replaced it and bled the system. Other than that, nothing has been touched.
