Speedo fluctuating/noise behind dash...?

so im new to the wonderful world of dsm's...i got this weird noise...sounds like its comin from behind the dash, its like a squeaking/scratching noise, guessin its something in the drivetrain cause it only occurs when i'm moving, not a belt or anything cause the noise isn't directly related to RPM's...also, my speedometer moves up and down w/ the noise...the faster i go, the faster the noise occurs, the faster my speedo moves up and down...i have no clue what this could be, any help would be appreciated...thanx
