So my speedo started randomly working and finally just died all together. I put a new speed sensor in assuming that was the problem and well it Wasant so I'm wondering if any one has had any issues and it Wasant the speed sensor? If so what was it? Or if anyone has the diag flow chart off all data or Mitchell they could email me that would be great as well

is the rest of the gage cluster seated correctly? Make sure your pullged into the VSS tightly, i had a loose connection and my MPH and Odo were very spuratic.

Yeah the cluster is all the way in, I havent taken it out in a month or so.

And the odo and speedo dont work at all

And im fairly sure the connector is in all the way ive had it in and out quite a few times LOL

guess ill just have to look up a wire diagram so i can see what wires are what then put the scope on it4

Its a very simple circut. If you didnt mess with the wiring, and it worked after your cluster adjstment, then its clear its the sensor or the plug. Check for bent pins.. Theres, power, ground and signal, thats it.

I'm not sure if you're still having problems or not. I had the same issue. It wasn't the speed sensor, or the cluster. Take your speed sensor out, spin the end with a drill and see if your speedometer works, also make sure that gear on the end is okay. If everything checks out fine then I would start looking at this.

The blue and yellow gears in that post are speedometer driven gears, and they seem to wear out pretty easily. They are the gear that makes your speed sensor gear spin. IF they wear out they are junk, because they won't stay snapped on the differential.

A guy gave me the part number, M04797316

Good luck.

yeah still not working but it dont woirk with the sensor out of the trans either so its gotta be electrical or the sensor itself, i have verified all the wireing so its gotta be the sensor or the cluster i guess, gonna pull the cluster from my Spyder and see what happens
