Would you believe she's now burping at .028 with 25 psi? This DIS is a wasted hunk of space. I'll likely drop the gap down to .026 just to see if it stops. I know the plugs are a bit loaded from all the leaded I run and I'm even thinking of trying the non-projected tip plugs hakcenter was talking about (BR7ES) to see if I can squelch some knock until we do WI.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to talk at the autox, but I had Melissa with me and while I would have hung out in the rain, she wasn't game and I couldn't blame her. Looking forward to spending MUCH more time with you once you get to Auburn. If you bring the boost leak tester, I'll bring the beer!
Talk soon!

That's no fun. When you get a chance to come up here, we'll hang out, drink a few and THEN boost leak test. I think that sounds better.
Cheers,
Andy

Cool thanks. I will try and get some tomorrow. I'm assuming there about $10 bucks a set too. Do you think I should still stay with the gap at .28 or lower it to .26 while on the BR7ES plugs. Thanks!hakcenter said:Try BR7ES's and if it continues switch to BPR8ES's

Thanks Andy for the advice I really appreciate it. I've already bought a new set of plugs so if that doesn't work I will then check my wires like you recommended. Thanks again.andymoraitis said:Stay with the same gap first. Always try new plugs at the recommended .028 and then step down if needed. 19psi shouldn't be blowing out that gap. I would also look into fresh wires. Some will go bad in a year, so you may want to replace them to be sure they aren't causing your misfire issue.

Hmm, you shouldn't have had any problems with the Iridiums. I had a set and they worked great. They're definitely not like platinums.GST with PSI said:before i ran denso iridium's. 60 dollar set of plugs now paper weights.

When crunk Vac is at 6, and Putts insted of purring. Sometime the checkengine light will come on and car shuts off.
Do you think towing the car to a shop to get a leakdown test done will help me resolve the problem?
