Yeah so I just went and bought some BPR7ES from NAPA a couple days ago because i wanted to change my plugs since I did a lot of upgrading my car since then, so I took one out [BPR6ES] and the top was so black i couldn't even see the tip...

I knew they were fouled, also I am running pretty rich, any advice on what I should do next (besides swap my new plugs in) will be greatly appreciated. Mods and year model are in my profile.

Well unless you're running 20+ psi, don't. Not to mention you're running retarded rich and colder plugs won't help you at all. Fix everything first before doing so. Also, if you're still running a stock FPR yet wanting to hit 20+ psi, you're doing it wrong.

well known DSM'ers on here said that I should look into them...
Sounds like they don't know much - for using colder plugs is mainly for high speed contained driving, or highly modded up turbo motors...not for boulevard crusing..

Best head back with "6's" until you find out where you need to be at.

I have no intentions on trying to run 20psi on my stock fuel pump/no logger/no air/fuel tuning device

LOL, I'm just trying to fix my plug problem;)

As stated, definitely stick with the 6'es for now. As for the plugs, I had the same problem with the plugs being black covered. Found a huge boost leak, problem solved. Do a BLT.

It was a boost leak! haha thanks guys, car is running fine now, but then I switched my back to the 6's and my car idled horribly and stumbled, and after 3k rpm it felt slower and weird noises coming from my exhaust/dp...

So I switched back to the 7's, any idea why that happened when I switched back to the 6's?

Oh yea and btw, I was on my T-25 with the 6's, and 14b then to a 16g low boost for the 7's, and the 6's were put on when the 16g was installed when I explained these problems.
