So long story short, My head is going to be taken to a machine shop and so instead of installing everything back, I am having my mechanic put in my new '3g lifters' and figured why not change spark plugs as well. Engine only has 16k.

So i bought the NGK BPR7ES. and handed it over to my mechanic (won't be put on for several days)

I just went through my old e-mail and when I bought the car (2010), the previous owner told me to ONLY use BP7ES (no resister).

Why would I be in any trouble from using the resister inclusive spark plug? It just doesn't make sense to me.

The car is using coil on plugs. 6bolt engine.

Car is aftermarket-modified (turbo/manifolds/exhaust/etc).

I dont see why it would be any different of course with coil on plug that might matter see what some of the chryslers take like the 300m and stratus and what not with the coil on plug setup. That may give you an idea.
