Just got a pair of Sparco Rev's in Red with Black trim.

What color should I get the harness? I am thinking black... should I get the 4 point clubman? The rev's don't have the submarine hole to insert the bottom belt for a 5 point or 6 point Harness... is the clubman safe enough for Track use?

What steering wheel should I get?

I have a sparco 3-point harness, and I love it!! :D Check my profile for crappy pic. If its for the track though I would probably say get the 4 point, Im not sure if 3-point would meet regulations.

I think you should probably get the harnesses in black, IMO any other color would clash with the red seats. Must be nice having sparco seats, I just have cheap APC seats.

Sparco stuff is so cool..hehehe :D

(/being giddy) :|

I say go with black and get Schroth Rally 3 harnesses, that way you can drive them anywhere legally, especially the track. 3 points seem safer than 4 points to me based on installation.

Anyone know if the Side Mount bases will fit in between the two pillars that compose the original base for the Seat (two lumps where the screws go in on the back and come out of in the front to mount the original seat)?

The reason I ask is because if the base has to fall on top of those two lumps I believe the setas will be two high and the seat back would probably be close to the roof... not to mention my helmet.

Anyone that has mounted Sparcos' with side mounts (Rev, Evo, Corsa, etc.)

with my Sparco Tourino's I had the 3 point Sparco harness's and they didnt' fit correctly at all. the belts were way to long for my car.

This time around I'm going with there Camlock Harness. - (pull down strap) and then going with the 48" shoulder harness's. But I'm also having a Cage installed at the same time. Based on the looks of all there "Street" harness's I don't think any of them would work properly with our cars. And the true competition harness look to be the only ones that will allow 100% adjustability.

The one thing I don't see though is the 5th Belt anywhere on there site. I haven't read the rules for NHRA yet but I think I should be ok with jus a 4 point.

As for Steering Wheels I currently have the Sparco Color 2 - yellow/Black. And it gets in the way of the Dash Gauges, I'm 6' 4" and depending on what kind of driving I'm doing I have to Raise or lower the Steering wheel so I can see the needles. So if at all possible I'd either go with a smaller wheel or a larger one. But from the looks of it the choices in wheel size are pretty limited.

Newb question...And don't mean to steal from your thread. I would probly get flamed for making my own post. But can you have 3 or 4 point harness and not have to take out backseats and stuff for them to work properly? I want them but I dont want to only beable to fit 2 people in my car.

You can... but they would get in the way of the back seat... I guess kids would fit between the belts (DANGEROUS!!!!!!)

There is a guy here who installed them off of the bolts that hold down the front seats (EVEN MORE DANGEROUS!!!!!)...

So the short answer is... any REAL harness will obstruct the back seat.
