Rule out the accessories. Take the belts off. Obviously you cant run it long but you should be able to pinpoint if it is an accessory or not and which one. If that doesnt stop it id say its under the cover and you need to take it apart again.

okay will do i did notice how the noise changed when i turned the wheels to the max, so possibly steering?

Any updates? I was having the same problem till I heard a noise two days ago then I lost all power steering.

Yep sounds like ps pump.

Yes. I would suspect that with the covers off the problem will be obvious.

Ok so i took the car to the mechanic who did the timing belt and he did the job again for free, it was all good until about 24 hrs later started making the noise again? It really annoying but ive heard for people it comes on randomly and stops randomly, but mine is constant. When he did the job again he said one of pullys looked odd, but spun fine and he replaced all pulleys.

I loosened the belt and the noise is still there, kinds sounds like it's coming from oil pump

Did you just randomly loosen it or did you follow procedure for setting and checking tension?

Well by I mean the mechanic haha, it's pretty loose right now I'm able to man handle the belt off the tensioner gAve it a start and still the same noise. Havnt touched it since been in drive way, school and work but I have some time on break now

Be careful with the timing belt tension; make sure it's done by the book. If it's loose and you put load on it, the belt will hop and you'll be rebuilding the head.

It sounds similar to belt rub. Do they look worn, or is there evidence of wear anywhere on the timing belt cover?
