sony xplod problems

i have just installed this cd player it is used got it from someone i know. not that it matters. but i wired this thing up correctly and and i have no sound i have power and everything just no sound i even have static in the back ground. it shuffles through stations accepts cd the works. with this wired up correctly is there anything else that i can check. i did check the fuse on the back still good. only one wire that i did not hook up was the illum wire didnt think i need it doesnt involve sound. hopefully you can help.

maybe u have stock amp .

i do have the stck amp i believe it is the infinity. is there a way to bypass this or make it work with my headunit. or do i need to remove the amp?
